Breaker was staring at the thundering falls which is known as Looking Glass Falls. The water was clear as it poured over the cliff edge, creating a water fall. Breaker stood on a rock that was a little ways away from the falls, out of the cool mist which was blowing from the post where the water hit the stream.
Breaker dabbed a paw in the cool stream water. The icy water sent shivers down his spine. Birds sang overhead, but most were drowned out by the loud roar of the falls. Breaker had come here to think, away from his pack and the commotion their. On this neutral site, their were no wolves besides him, at least at the moment.

There were no other wolves beside him -- or so he had thought!
The misunderstood red wolf known as Styx was there too, his scent camouflaged by the small water droplets that would cause you to sneeze if you inhaled deeply in order to appreciate the scent of all the creatures that were there. The forests were so lonely these days, another wolf would've socially approached Breaker with hopes of a long nice conversation... but not Styx. No. Styx was semi-hidden in the rocks, his blood-red hair completely soaked and dripping of water. He must have been swimming, it seemed, searching for fish, or maybe took a wrong step and slipped into the water; whatever the reason might have been, the GF pack leader didn't look at all happy -- well, but could you really rely on body language to read this wolf?
Styx didn't move, he simply looked at Breaker; his gray eyes flashing with an unknown feeling. Was it rage? Was it triumph? It was impossible to tell, but one thing was sure, and that was that this time there was no river between them!

Breaker continued to stare at the thundering falls, pondering just about everything that had happened in the last few days. He had no idea Styx was here, as his scent was completely hidden by the water. But, the gray wolf did have an uncanny feeling that he was being watched.
Breaker shrugged it off, wolves were few in this forest and encountering one on neutral territory was rare. It was probably a weasel or otter, if he was even being watched at all.

Styx's eyes narrowed, hardened, his ears flattening against his skull and his head lowering. His muzzle wrinkling. There was no need for purposefully contradictory body language today -- he could just attack and get over with it! He slowly approached Breaker, trying to make no sound while moving through the elbow-high water; but then he stopped. Wait... what if there were others hiding nearby? No alpha wouldn't travel alone... well, but Styx too was an alpha, and he was alone, yes? And besides! Who cared if there were others waiting for the right moment to rip him to pieces... Styx didn't. He cared only for the present and never for the future. That was the way he had always been.
The water was getting too deep. Slowly, the GF pack alpha climbed on the slippery rocks, his hesitation gone. He didn't care if he made much noise; he didn't care if he hurt himself! It didn't matter now. Breaker was just there and no river, no nothing would keep him from attacking! He would get him this time... he wouldn't fail...
Without second thoughts, the red wolf attacked. His red and beige jaws were wide open and aimed at the back of the gray wolf's neck.

The expecting Breaker was hit by a sledgehammer. The initial shock of the attack was upon him but he soon shook it off. The gray wolf rolled on the ground to try and get the upper advantage on Styx, all the while bitting and clawing. Breaker was right when he guessed Styx was dangerous, and now he wished he had his pack more than ever.
The two wolves rolled and fought on the slippery rocks. The fight was incredibly dangerous, as one roll to far and both wolves would fall into the ice cold river. Breaker tried to pin Styx but he was just too quick! Styx was a great fighter and it was now that Breaker realized what this wolf was truly made of.
