These are the In Character rules at Silent Sights. If you follow them you will be alright but if you don't, there shall be consequences.
1. In order to create a character, go to the profiles board and use our template to create your character.
2. You are only allowed to have one character.
3. You can play as a Grey Wolf or a Red Wolf. A few coyote/wolf hybrids will be allowed. A few wolf/dog hybrids will be allowed as well but we prefer you play as a Gray Wolf or a Red Wolf.
4. Please do not call female dogs b.itches. I know a lot of dog RPs do, and that is the name for them, but with recent society has turned it into a swear word and I just do not like to use it in RPing, so just use male and female or brute and fae.
5. You must post at least five good sentences per post.
6. In order to have your character approved, you must include a good two paragraph Writing Sample.
7. This is an intermediate RP site, but we will take new RPers, however your writing sample must show adequate RPing skills in order to be able to RP.
8. If you wish to challenge an Alpha of one of the packs PM that Alpha and a staff member inorder to do so, though the Alpha has the option to decline your challenge.
9. Any Wolf can live in Brevard Valley, but most wolfs have the urge to be in a pack so we would like to keep the numbers on loners low.
10. No god-modding or powerplaying. This is when you take control of someones character. You have to let the other person's character react, that is after all, the whole point of RPing.
Bad Example:
Petey rushed at John and bit him, tearing his leg off.
Good Example:
Petey rushed at John and aimed a bite at his leg.
11. Fighting is between wolves or rival Wolf Packs inorder to settle disputes or confilcts. You must be fair in a fight, each wolf must take hits and blows. Be as discriptive as possible when posting a fight. You must PM a staff member telling them you are going to fight, so that they can moderate it and make sure its clean. Please do not hold ooc grudges after an in character fight. Your characters can fight in character, but out of character you can still be friends with the person your character fought.
12. Mating season takes place from Spring to Early Summer. You must mate for life and you may take a mate at any time. Males may fight over the females. No graphic mating.
13. You must follow the hiarchy in the wolf pack. To see our hiarchy, click here
14. The humans that released the wolves onto the mountains will occasionally sedate a wolf and take it in for a check up to see how well the packs are fairing. Every wolf, except for the Alphas, for the humans think it will cause to much chaos amongst the packs, so they we the staff will pick one or two wolves at random from each pack, and take those wolves away for a check up. During this time the person whos wolf was chosen will not be able to RP this character for a couple of days. Then the we will release the wolf back into the pack.
15. Your character can only be in one place at a time.
17. No "wolfspeak" as some people call it. If you don't know what this is its when you substitute words for so called, "wolf words". Some examples are calling eyes orbs or lanturns, calling teeth daggers and calling females 'esses. This is a literate site where we use proper English. The only two wolfspeak words you are allowed to use are Brute for males and Fae for females.
16. The final rule, and the most important one, is have fun!
